Low carbohydrate bread flowers
Ingredients
340 ml water (lukewarm)
15 g Dried yeast / 30 g verse gist
1 pack Sunflower seeds Bakers@Home
1 pack Poppy seeds Bakers@Home
Tools
Dough bowl
Tea towel
Baking tray
Preparation
Recipe for 2 bread flowers (16 breads)
Place all ingredients in the dough bowl and knead on low speed for 5 minutes.
Then knead at medium speed for 8 minutes.
Place the dough under a tea towel at room temperature and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into pieces of about 55 grams and make into balls.
Spray the baking tray with baking spray and place the dough pieces on the baking tray about 8 cm apart.
Brush all balls slightly with water using a brush.
Place the sunflower seeds and the poppy seeds in the different containers.
Push 1 ball into the sunflower seeds all the way around.
Place this in the middle of the baking tray.
Now take the 7 other balls and roll them all around through the poppy seeds.
Place these around the ball with sunflower seeds against each other so that a flower design is created.
Repeat this with the remaining balls.
Let it rest for 60 minutes under a tea towel at room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
Place the baking sheet in the center of the preheated oven.
Bake the bread flowers at 220 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until done.
